"By way of sequel to "Musings on Modernity", here are "More Musings".
Just as the former book was based on musings on events during the month of August 2012, including the Olympics and Paralympics held in London, and the American conventions for the choice of candidates for the presidential election,so the present book is based on events in the New Year of 2013, with the entrance of Mr Abe as Prime Minister of Japan. In either case, by "musings" is meant a consideration of present events in the light of the past, especially in view of parallels in English history over the past four centuries and of the Bible, according to the wise saying of Confucius, By studying the past, we know the present."
