Most of the reports, articles and columns we read in our daily newspapers are too serious. They tend to be too factual, overlooking the fact that satire, irony and humour provide the spice that makes mere facts palatable to the common reader. In this book, therefore, I take various topics I come upon in my daily reading of newspapers and add my satirical, ironical and humorous comments, in such a way as to imply a general view of life - looking from the particular to the universal, from the temporal to the eternal, from the human to the divine.
